  Worked in a variety of departments including integrated circuit design, test and systems development. Sponsored through BSc in Physics at Heriot-Watt university.
1980-1982 CAD Manager General Instrument

  Responsible for device modelling and  integrated circuit simulation and layout software tools.
1982-1988 Design Manager Marconi Electronic Devices
Wembley and Lincoln.
  Managed a multi-site integrated circuit development department of about 80 engineers. Applications areas included mil/avionics, telecom and semicustom in cmos and cmos/sos technologies.

  Amongst others, spending my time gardening, fiddling around with techy things and generally enjoying life.
